Cancellation and refunds

This policy explains the support-assisted process for subscriptions and DBT Credit top-ups.

Your Australian Consumer Law rights are not limited. Consumer guarantees and remedies continue to apply where required by law.

Cancel a membership

You may cancel through the billing portal. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period and the subscription will not renew. Cancellation does not automatically refund the current period.

Subscription refund requests

Subscription refunds are reviewed by support, including where the service may not have met a consumer guarantee. We do not offer an automatic change-of-mind refund for a partly used subscription period. This does not affect remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

Top-up change of mind

You may request a change-of-mind refund within 14 days of a top-up only when that specific top-up remains wholly unused. Requests are checked against the purchase and credit ledger. Partial or already-used top-ups are not automatically eligible for change-of-mind refunds.

Approved refunds and credits

An approved full or partial refund removes the corresponding unused purchased credits. Partial refunds are reconciled proportionally using customer-favouring rounding. If credits have already been used and a refund is an approved Australian Consumer Law remedy for a product or service failure, we do not create hidden customer debt for the shortfall. Suspected fraud, disputes and chargebacks are reviewed separately and access may be suspended during review.

How to request support

Email support@daisukebear.com.au with the account email, purchase date, amount and a short explanation. Do not email card details, passwords, activation codes or authenticator codes. We may request enough information to locate the Stripe transaction and assess the request.

Processing

Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Bank processing times vary. Financial, webhook and credit-ledger records may be retained for accounting, security, dispute and legal purposes.
